Security Officer Refresher
Top-up training for security officers renewing an SIA licence, revisiting the core skills and current requirements.
01 / Overview
About this qualification
Guarding work rewards consistency, and consistency slips when training is years old. Legislation is updated, emergency and counter-terrorism guidance changes, and incident handling benefits from being practised rather than recalled.
This refresher is taken by security officers when renewing a licence. It revisits the knowledge the role depends on and brings you up to date with where the standards sit now.
