Close Protection (International)
Close protection training geared to operating internationally, for operatives working outside the UK or on cross-border assignments.
01 / Overview
About this qualification
Protecting a principal abroad brings problems that a domestic assignment does not: unfamiliar legal systems, variable infrastructure, long transit routes, local fixers and security providers of uneven quality, and a far greater reliance on advance planning.
This certificate covers the core discipline of close protection with that international context running through it, from threat assessment and operational planning to working as part of a team a long way from home support.
